The best applications are created by people who actually use them. The creators of SWIM are the same folks who use SWIM. So we’re not a just a group of coders living in a theoretical world, we actually run warehouses and ship thousands of orders every day. We really understand both the complexity needed in a warehouse management system, but also the design simplicity needed so that users can learn and utilize our system quickly. Our creative team is made up of business owners, warehouses managers and experienced software developers.
SWIM is not only a “Best in Class” warehouse management system, it’s also well-thought-out and modern. SWIM can be a simple or as complex as you need it to be, with lots of features: like all major ecommerce sales channel integrations baked in (Amazon, Ebay, etc.), or integrations available on day one with most major web shopping carts (Shopify, Big Commerce, Miva, etc.) And at a fraction of the cost of other warehouse management systems software, it’s a no-brainer for anyone facing the challenges of shipping orders to their customers.
With our Visual Warehouse Builder Tool, you can drag and drop your inventory from a spreadsheet into SWIM warehouse locations/bins, which adds them to your inventory in the proper bin locations (of course you’ll need to “physically” put inventory in these locations – at least until teleporting is a reality).
SWIM can calculate the time required of an average picker to complete a pick tour. The time allotted is actually printed on the pick ticket (or displayed on the scanner if you use them), so your picker knows the picking speed that is required of them. Same with the packers/shippers. This data can also be used to send score cards and messages to your employee devices, “Congrats Joe, you’re leading the pick team with 42 orders picked so far today!” SWIM can assist you in making your employee’s work more fun through our extensive “gamification” of what could be, mundane repetitive tasks. It tracks and measures everything: orders in progress, orders picked, lines picked, pieces picked, pick speeds. These metrics can be used to message your employees and keep them informed & encouraged
With SWIM’s “Supermarket Checkout” order verification/packing process, your order error rate will plummet to just about 0. Each individual product gets verified along with piece counts, so no unpleasant surprises for you or your customers and the ugly cost associated with fixing them.
Setup as many inventory entities as your company needs: warehouses, brick and mortar stores and more. Your website can sell from, and orders can be picked from any/all of them!
There are a million ways to set up a fulfillment warehouse. But we’ve narrowed it down to what we feel are the top best practices. SWIM tracks the total inventory located in your warehouse, as well as tracking the inventory at individual bin levels. As orders roll in, inventory is decremented from your primary pick locations and also the inventory total count, and then all sales channels are updated in real-time! Anyone familiar with marketing on multiple sales channels knows what a big deal this capability is!
